Virtual Production

I've been involved as a Virtual Production Supervisor on a short film being done for ETC@USC The Entertainment Technology Center at The University of Southern California This is a research center for film studios and others. Last year they did a Virtual Production short film project called Ripple Effect. And it also produced a 165 page White Paper documenting the process.

and is still in production. Some of our team gave presentations at HPA (Hollywood Professional Association) this week. HPA is a small annual event where tech companies involved with Hollywood present new developments. I was on a panel a few years ago. I'll probably do a write-up on the blog as a Guide to Practical Virtual Production.
